1. Am I really pregnant?
A pregnancy may be detected as early as seven to 10 days after conception. It is important that you receive a lab quality pregnancy test. If the test is positive, a sonogram is advised to confirm your pregnancy. The pregnancy test will show there is pregnancy hormone in your body, the sonogram will evaluate if that has resulted in a viable pregnancy.
2. How far along am I?
We will look at the first day of your LMP (last menstrual period). We use this date to calculate your due date. If you qualify for an ultrasound we will schedule you a free ultrasound appointment with our medical staff. The ultrasound is an important tool used to determine exact due date and to determine if it is a viable pregnancy (if there is a heartbeat). If you are considering an abortion procedure, the type and cost of abortion is determined by how far along you are in the pregnancy.
At the Pregnancy Help Center of Fort Worth we provide lab quality pregnancy tests and sonograms by medically-trained professionals at no charge to our clients. With pregnancy confirmation and an understanding of where you are in your pregnancy, you will be prepared to make an informed decision.
